OUR Britannia did not make an “immutable decision” not to send its fighters into Ukrainebut he doesn’t see sending fighter jets as the right approach at the moment, Defense Secretary Ben Wallace said today.
“I’ve been doing this for a long time. And I learned two things: never exclude anything and never exclude anything,” he told reporters when asked why the UK would not send fighter jets to Ukraine.
“This is not an irreversible decision,” he added. “At the moment, I don’t think this is the right approach… What will come next this year in this war is the ability of the Ukrainians to use Western equipment against Russia.”
