“Two hours ago, the Russian occupiers fired a rocket at a residential building in the center of the city,” Pavlo Kyrylenko, the Ukrainian governor of the partially pro-Russian Donetsk region, said in his Telegram account.

Journalists of the France Presse agency saw two bodies where rescuers were searching under the rubble, writes Agerpres.

The governor said that seven people were injured, and other victims may be found under the rubble.

The city of Kramatorsk is located in the east of the Donetsk region.

Since 2014, Kremlin-backed separatists have partially controlled this industrial region, including its main city of Donetsk.

Having declared the region Russian last year, Moscow is now trying to capture it entirely.
