Hungary: the most “corrupt” country in the EU according to a new report

The non-governmental organization Transparency International released its new report (Corruption Perceptions Index 2022) today, ranking countries globally from least to most “corrupt” over the past year.

According to the said report, Denmark, Finland, Norway And Sweden stand out as the countries in Europe with the lowest level of corruption in the public sector.

On the contrary, they are presented as more “corrupt”. Hungary, Bulgaria And Romania.

OUR Cyprus And Hellas they are placed, according to the Transparency International 2022 list, not closer to the countries of Northern Europe, but to Romania, from which they are only two places higher.

It is noted that Turkey Erdogan’s rating is far below all the aforementioned countries, including Hungary.

The higher a country scores, the less “corrupt” it is considered.

In this context, Denmark scored 90, Germany 79, Greece 52 (as well as Cyprus), Hungary 42 and Turkey 36. As regards Ukraineshe ranks even lower, at 33, but higher than Russia, which collects 28.
