Its former president Brazil Jair Bolsonaro has applied for a six-month tourist visa to stay in the US, his lawyer said today, despite calls to revoke any US visa Bolsonaro holds following violent protests from his supporters in Brazil.
US authorities received his application on Friday, his lawyer Felipe Alejandro said, adding that Bolsonaro would remain in the US while his application was pending.
