
Three people were killed and at least two were injured when Russian troops shelled residential buildings in Konstantinovka. Eastern UkraineThis was announced today by the governor of the region.
Pavel Kirilenko said in a message on the messaging app Telegram that four apartment buildings and a hotel were damaged, and that rescuers and police officers rushed to the scene to “carefully record yet another crime committed by the Russian occupation forces.”
Kirilenko has previously said that over the past 24 hours, Russian strikes have killed 4 people and injured at least 7.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Friday that the situation at the front remains “extremely tense”, especially in Donetsk, in eastern Ukraine, where Russia is stepping up its offensive against the backdrop of a full-scale invasion that began in February last year.
