President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky expressed his condolences in connection with the attacks on Jerusalem during which, according to him, among the dead there is a citizen of Ukraine.
“We share Israel’s pain after the terrorist attacks in Jerusalem. Among the victims there is a Ukrainian. Sincere condolences to the families of the victims,” he wrote on Twitter.
“The crimes were cynically committed on International Holocaust Remembrance Day. Terrorism should have no place in the modern world. Neither in Israel, nor in Ukraine,” Zelensky wrote.
The Israeli military said it was building up forces in the occupied West Bank, a day after a Palestinian militant killed seven people on the outskirts of Jerusalem, and today another militant attacked the city, injuring two people.
