A video of shocking scenes of a man armed with a hammer attacking the home of then-Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi last October was released today in the US.

The video, which includes dashcam footage of cops rushing to Pelosi’s house after calling for help, is shocking as it shows officers entering the house as the intruder tries to beat Pelosi’s husband, Paul, with a hammer.

The policeman asks the intruder to throw the hammer he is holding. He refuses and tries to hit 82-year-old Paul Pelosi. A fight ensues and the police rush in and immobilize the man.

Recall that a 42-year-old attacker named David Depp broke into Pelosi’s home in October last year, looking for the then president of the House of Representatives (in order to take her hostage and torture, he later told authorities) and threatening his 82-year-old husband Paul , whom she eventually attacked with a hammer, sending him to the hospital with a fractured skull and hand injuries.

It is recalled that since the attack in October last year, various conspiracy theories have been circulated, trying to “incriminate” Pelosi herself and remove any political overtones from the attack.

However, the video released today, as well as the statements of David Depp himself, who carried out the attack, refute all these conspiratorial scenarios.
