At the same time, the statement of the US Embassy emphasizes: “Following the recent burning of the Quran in Europe, the US government is warning its citizens of possible terrorist attacks on places of worship in Turkey. By targeting places of worship or places frequented by Westerners, terrorists can strike with little or no warning.“.
