“In the Moscow region, training was organized to repel air attacks on important objects of military, industrial and administrative infrastructure with the personnel of the anti-aircraft missile brigade of the Western Military District,” the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

According to the ministry, the servicemen who participated in these exercises are learning how to use S-300 anti-aircraft missiles.

In total, “more than 150 servicemen and more than 30 units of weapons, military and special equipment” took part in the training, the Ministry of Defense in Moscow claims, without specifying when the training took place.

On Friday, Kremlin spokesman Dmytro Peskov declined to answer questions about whether Russia fears Moscow could become a target. He referred this issue to the Ministry of Defense, writes Agerpres.

Interesting photos from Moscow appeared on social networks on Thursday. Anti-aircraft complexes “Pantsir” are installed on the roofs of high-rise buildings in the Russian capital, presumably, such a system is even installed on the roof of the Ministry of Defense building in Moscow.

Photos and videos that appeared on social media on Thursday show a crane preparing to be lifted onto the roof of a high-rise building on Teterynskyi Street, not far from the central square and Krasnaya Square. Further, on the footage taken after dusk, the Pantsir system is visible on the roof of the building in question.

According to unconfirmed information circulating on Twitter, anti-aircraft complexes are also installed in other places of the Russian capital.

Another photo is circulating of another Pantsir system, which appears to have been permanently installed on the roof of the main building of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
