Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the situation in the Ukrainian regions illegally annexed by Moscow is “complicated in places.”
The head of the Kremlin, speaking at a televised meeting with officials, also said that Russia has all the necessary resources to improve life in the four Ukrainian regions that Moscow unilaterally annexed in September, Reuters reports.
Russia’s illegal annexation last September of four territories that together make up 15 percent of Ukraine’s territory was the largest violent seizure of territory in Europe since World War II.
Putin claims that Zaporizhia, Kherson, Luhansk and Donetsk regions are “forever” Russia.
