“Traitors who hate their country so much, who demand its defeat and destruction, should be considered “hostis publicus”, enemies of the people,” Medvedev wrote in his Telegram account.

The former Russian president, who was recently appointed “number two” in his country’s Military-Industrial Commission, added that those who fled Russia should be classified as “enemies of the people” even if they have no administrative or criminal record. actions against their country of origin.

“These people cannot be allowed to return to Russia until the end of their days,” he insisted. In addition, “traitors” should not continue to receive salaries in Russia, working remotely from other countries, he added.

“It is immoral when traitors who want the defeat of their country make money in Russia,” he said. In his opinion, this situation should end “once and for all”.

At the same time, the Russian official left the door open for the possible return of emigrants dissatisfied with the “Russian military operation”, on condition of “prior public and clear remorse”. “Although it would be better if they didn’t come back either,” he concluded.
