President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi, speaking before the parliament on Wednesday, declared that his country is a “world leader” and praised Ukrainians for helping the West “find itself”, Reuters and “Ukrainian Pravda” reported.

“Ukraine has become one of the world leaders,” he said.

“For 10 months this year, we helped everyone. We helped the West find itself, return to the world stage and feel how much the West prevails. No one in the West is afraid of Russia and will not be afraid of Russia,” Zelensky added.

He added that the Ukrainian military-industrial complex will be one of the most progressive, and the goal of Ukraine will be to restore the territorial integrity of Ukraine and release all its citizens who are currently in captivity.

Zelenskyi also said that the reconstruction of Ukraine after the war will be the biggest economic project in Europe. He asked the parliamentarians to develop a bill that would stimulate the entry of businesses into the Ukrainian market.

The president added that it is important not to allow millions of Ukrainians who fled abroad to become refugees and to do everything necessary for their return.
