Green Party leader Angelo Bonelli considers this measure a “gift” to the hunting lobby and that it violates the Italian Constitution and EU rules: “We will fight in parliament while we have prepared a corresponding complaint to the European Union.” Bonelli, expressing confidence that Brussels will sue the Italian government.
