President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky said that he would gladly enter the ring for a fight with the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
“Always ready,” the 44-year-old Ukrainian president said today in response to a related question during an interview he gave to French television channel TF1.
The question arose following a report in Le Monde newspaper that French President Emmanuel Macron told Putin he was going to train boxing and Putin told him to imagine hitting Zelensky.
“A real man, if he wants to say something to someone, or if he wants to – how to say it, punch him in the face – he does it himself, and does not send intermediaries.”
Is he ready for a duel with 70-year-old Putin? “I don’t care tomorrow,” Zelensky said with a laugh. “Then this will be the last summit for the President of the Russian Federation,” he continued.
