Slovakian Foreign Minister Rastislav Kacer warned on Thursday those advocating an end to the war with Russia, despite Ukraine’s demands, that something similar happened to Adolf Hitler and that it “led to the destruction of Czechoslovakia and World War II.” War,” reports news360.es.

“What Russia is doing in Ukraine was not, is not and will never be acceptable,” said the head of Slovak diplomacy during a joint press conference in Kyiv with his Ukrainian colleague Dimytro Kuleba.

“To those who say ‘we want peace, we are in favor of negotiations’, we always say that we have already experienced it with Hitler (…) We know that it led to the destruction of Czechoslovakia at the beginning of the Second World War. All over the world and at the expense of the loss of tens of millions of people,” he warned.

“We will never do this again. I have learned the lessons of history and I will support you until the end,” emphasized Katser, who made a bet that Ukraine will decide on what conditions the war should end.

In this sense, Kacher emphasized that the option that should prevail is “Ukrainian peace”, with the help of which “it will restore its borders and completely restore its sovereign territory.” However, he explained that even under these conditions “it is not final”.

“This will happen when Russia does not pose a threat to the international community and when Ukraine becomes a full participant in all important European meetings,” he said.

This week, the Slovak government approved a new package of military aid to Ukraine, which includes not only weapons and combat vehicles, but also equipment for Ukrainian forces.
