A new video posted on social media captured intense fighting around the eastern Ukrainian city of Bakhmut from inside a Ukrainian armored vehicle.

Footage taken from inside the BTR-3E armored personnel carrier, developed in the early 2000s by an international consortium with the participation of two Ukrainian arms companies, shows the heavy fire of the Kyiv military on the Russian attackers.

As is probably already known to those who follow the development of the war in Ukraine, the attacks in the direction of Bakhmut, a strategic city in the Donetsk region, are the only large-scale offensive by the Russian army against Ukraine after numerous failures. recorded in recent months, the culmination of which was the abandonment of the western bank of the Dnieper in Kherson.

Three days later, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi called the fighting in the Donetsk region “hell”.
