OUR Kanye West confirmed rumors that he wants to run for president again in 2024.
The popular American rapper, entrepreneur and fashion designer announced this in a video posted on the X17 Online website.
In the three-minute and 39-second video, the camera follows West and reporter Milos Yiannopoulos into a warehouse.
“This is Milo working on the campaign,” West says. Then someone is heard asking, “Is this an announcement?” referring to the upcoming U.S. presidential election, and Yiannopoulos laughs and replies, “I think so.”
“Thanks, I agree,” West replies with a laugh. Later, he gives viewers a tour of the warehouse where a clothing line under the YE24 brand is being created. “So you’re going to run?” the operator asks.
“Yeah,” the rapper says. “It’s just because no one can tell me, you know, ‘You have to say this, you don’t have to say that,’ see?” We are just moving into the future,” he emphasizes.
West, who returned to Twitter last weekend, was recently embroiled in controversy over a series of anti-Semitic comments in his posts on the popular social media platform.
The rapper previously ran unsuccessfully for US President in the 2020 election.
