“A new package of European sanctions is needed,” said President Zelensky in a video address to Irish students.

“Russian aggression does not stop for a single day. Russian lies to the world never stop. Therefore, despite all this, international pressure on Russia should not stop for a single day,” said President Zelensky.

The President of Ukraine accused Moscow of violating the final declaration of the G20 summit in Bali, which was supported by Russia in many points.

The declaration emphasizes the importance of international law and the multilateral system as guarantors of peace and stability.

However, Russia continues to destroy international relations, claiming that it is fighting against this destabilization together with everyone, he said. Moscow is mobilizing all its resources to “become the biggest terrorist state in history,” President Zelenskyi said.

Also on Friday, in remarks at an international security forum in Halifax, Canada, President Volodymyr Zelensky rejected the idea of a short-term truce with Russia, saying it would only make the situation worse.

“Russia is now looking for a short truce, a rest to regain its strength. This can be perceived as the end of the war, but such a respite will only make the situation worse. A truly genuine, lasting and honest peace can come only after the complete destruction of Russian aggression,” he added. (Agerpres)
