
The Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine reported that it had found four “places of torture» which were used by the Russians in Kherson during the Russian occupation of this southern city Ukrainian and until its re-capture by Kyiv troops on November 11.
“In Kherson, the prosecutor’s office is still investigating Russian crimes: places of torture have been identified in four buildings,” the Ukrainian prosecutor’s office said in a Telegram message.
According to the prosecutor’s office, Ukrainian investigators visited “four buildings, mostly pre-war temporary detention centers, where during the occupation of the city, the occupying authorities illegally detained people and brutally tortured them.”

“Work on establishing the locations of torture chambers and illegal detention of people will continue,” the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine said, adding that they also want to “identify all the victims.”
After the liberation of Kherson on November 11, Kyiv repeatedly accused Russia of “war crimes and atrocities” in the Kherson region.
Moscow has yet to respond to these allegations.
