“Recently, some mass media representatives have ignored existing bans and warnings and started reporting from Kherson without coordination with military commandants and relevant PR services, even before the completion of stabilization measures,” the General Staff explained this measure on Facebook.

It is not clear which journalists were targeted.

According to some media reports, at least six CNN and Sky News correspondents have lost their credentials.

According to the Ukrainian media portal Detector.media, two journalists of the Ukrainian Internet channel “Hromadske” also lost their military IDs due to a report from Kherson.

At the end of last week, the Russian army withdrew from the northwestern part of the Kherson region, including its capital.

The relocation of the Ukrainian army to these areas is proceeding slowly as a precautionary measure.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi said that demining Kherson and the surrounding region is one of the most important immediate measures.
