The moment happened during the show of the presenter Olga Skabeeva, the “iron puppet” of Vladimir Putin, from the station “Russia-1” in the context of discussions about the development of the “special military operation”, which the head of the Kremlin started on April 24. February.
“We need to understand the long-term perspective, at least two months on the horizon. For this, we need clarity from all sides, and this clarity must be revealed to the public in various spheres – this applies to the economic component, and the political and military components as well,” says Dmytro Abzalov, director of the Center for Strategic Communications in Moscow.
“- A situation when no one says anything creates a vacuum. This vacuum creates these special situations, this insecurity. This is the most dangerous thing that can happen to the political process,” he continues.

Russian propagandists entertain the idea of conquering Ukraine
“- I would like to find out at least once what it is (goals and tasks). At least once,” Abzalov answers.
“- Demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine,” replies Skabeeva, to which all the guests on the set start laughing, including the TV presenter, who is trying to hide her smile.
“- All of Ukraine?” – asked the director of the Center for Strategic Communications, visibly amused again.
“You would also like to see the plans for the operation,” another guest interjects.
“- All of Ukraine? Including the western regions?” Abzalov continues, after which it becomes clear that not all Russian propagandists have Skabeeva’s “training”.
“I would like to clarify our position, because it is very important for the public, for Ukraine, for Europe, for China as well,” insists Abzalov to the smiles of those around him.
The discussion took place against the background of the fact that Kremlin-controlled TV channels generally avoided the topic of withdrawal from the western bank of the Dnieper and the abandonment of the city of Kherson, the capital of the Kherson region in southern Ukraine.
In one of the few moments when Russian television talked about leaving, host Volodymyr Solovyov compared Vladimir Putin to Stalin, but concluded that the current head of the Kremlin made the right decision to withdraw from Kherson, unlike the former leader of the Soviet Union.
However, the refusal caused outrage on Telegram channels used by Russian military bloggers and ultra-nationalist factions in Russia, who were extremely critical of the latest setback by the Russian military.
