A Dutch official who arrived in Kyiv on Tuesday morning told CNN it was important to pay attention to “what Russia does, not what it says,” saying that today’s attacks show once again that Vladimir Putin is “ready to resort to criminal methods”.

“There can only be one answer to this: we must continue to support Ukraine, deliver weapons and humanitarian aid,” the Dutch official added.

Russia’s armed forces launched a new missile attack on Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities on Tuesday, Reuters and Ukrainian media reported. According to the city administration, at least one person died as a result of the attack.

According to the mayor of Kyiv, at least half of the city remained without electricity.
