
OUR Germany will install more advanced air defense systems over the administrative buildings of the Ministry of Defense in response to repeated suspicious overflights of non-state manned, unmanned aerial vehicle asserts today the magazine Der Spiegel.
The magazine reported that one such drone, with an 8-meter wingspan, was spotted in October over the ministry’s second headquarters in Bonn. He cites an internal document in which officials discuss options for Germany to quickly be able to track and shoot down these planes.
According to Der Spiegel, military intelligence has spotted drones flying near military bases in Germany where Ukrainian soldiers are being trained.
