Russia had previously announced it was returning to the deal it pulled out of last weekend, citing an attack on its fleet in the Sevastopol Bay in Crimea.

“In a telephone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, I thanked him for his active participation in maintaining the grain agreement,” Zelensky wrote in a social media post.
On Tuesday, Erdogan spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin, acting as an intermediary in resolving the crisis.
