Philosopher Oleksandr Dugin, who is considered one of the main ideologues of Russian President Vladimir Putin, in his first speech after the funeral of his daughter Daria Dugin, said that Russia is resisting the devil in Ukraine, fighting on the side of Archangel Michael.

“We are in a very, very real war. This is a war not only of people, but also of the spirit. It is very important. We can say that we see a horizontal confrontation between our army and our enemy. We are against NATO. Of course, we don’t mind, even Ukraine has nothing to say about it,” says Dugin.

“But there is another dimension, vertical, of this war. It is a war of heaven against hell. This is a war of angelic warriors. This is the war of the vassals of Archangel Michael against the devil. And this vertical dimension is the ideology, the idea, the spirit that this war manifests, being its main support,” he continues.

Oleksandr Dugin further recalls Vladimir Putin’s speech on September 30, when he announced the annexation of the occupied Ukrainian territories, saying that the Kremlin leader spoke about the “satanic nature of Western civilization.”

“And this is not a metaphor,” emphasizes Putin’s ideologue. “So today we have two ideas, two wars face to face, because angels are spirits and minds. Angels and demons. And the battlefield is Ukraine, on the one hand. We are Holy Russia, as the Holy Patriarchate says. And against us are the forces of world, historical and absolute evil,” he says.

“That’s why we talk more and more about Armageddon, the end of time and the Apocalypse. All this is happening before our eyes,” he said in a speech he delivered a day ago at the World Council of Russians, an annual event organized by the Russian Orthodox Church.

During the same event, ultranationalist oligarch Kostiantyn Malofeev, a close associate of Dugin, who financed separatists in eastern Ukraine, Russian Education Minister Serhii Kravtsov, head of the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic Leonid Slutsky, and president of the Russian Communist Party Gennady Zyuganov also spoke.

What Oleksandr Dugin said at his daughter’s funeral

In his final speech the day before yesterday, the Russian ideologue was speaking at the funeral of his daughter, who was buried on August 23 after she was killed days earlier in a car bomb blast believed to have targeted Dugin.

“When she was a child, the first words we taught her, of course, were ‘Russia’, ‘our great state’, ‘our nation’, ‘our empire,'” said the Russian ideologist at Daria’s funeral Duginoi. by several Moscow officials and businessmen close to the Kremlin and the Russian Orthodox Church.

Dugin also said that his daughter would like people to “protect our faith, our Orthodoxy, love our Russian people.”

“People who fight against us do not understand that the Russian people are not only those who are alive now. But it consists of those who lived before us and will live after. And we will become stronger with the blood of our martyrs. And thanks to the untimely death of our dear, beloved Dasha, we will definitely win this war,” said a close friend of the Malofeev family.

Russia claims that Ukraine killed Daria Dugin

The day after Dugin’s daughter was killed, Russia’s Federal Security Service, the dreaded FSB, announced that it had identified the person responsible for her death.

The FSB claimed that the attack was carried out by Natalia Vovk, a Ukrainian born in 1979, who came to Russia with her underage daughter and prepared the attack for a month, renting an apartment in the same building and researching Dugina’s lifestyle.

Russian intelligence agents say the killer attended an event outside Moscow, where Dugina and her father were also present, before carrying out a “controlled explosion” of the car she was in and fleeing Russia to Estonia.

The Tallinn government immediately rejected this version of events.

Later, on August 29, the FSB announced that it had identified the second killer, Bohdan Petrovych Tsyganenko, a citizen of Ukraine, who, it said, was involved in obtaining fake license plates and documents on behalf of a genuine citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan and, together with Vovk, assembled an improvised explosive device in a rented garage in the south-west of Moscow.

Ukraine denies any involvement in the murder of Daria Dugina, saying that it was organized by Russian special services. Similar opinions were expressed by several well-known foreign analysts and experts.

But in an article published in early February, The New York Times journalists claim that United States intelligence agencies believe that part of the Ukrainian government authorized the explosion that killed Daria Dugin.

The officials, cited by the NYT on condition of anonymity, said the United States had no part in the attack, either through providing intelligence or otherwise, and that it had no knowledge of the operation before it took place.
