“The aggressor continues to terrorize our country. During the night, the aggressor launched a massive shelling with 36 rockets,” the President of Ukraine said on the social network.

The Ukrainian population is ready to suffer

More than a million homes were left without electricity in Ukraine after Russia’s attacks on the country’s energy infrastructure, the adviser to the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, said on Saturday.

The people of Ukraine are “ready to suffer” through a potentially dark and cold winter while Russian troops continue to occupy Ukrainian territory, the country’s infrastructure minister told CNN on Friday.

“Everyone feels that our army is winning on the battlefield,” Oleksandr Kubrakov told CNN. But they also understand that infrastructure attacks are meant to make people’s lives more difficult, he said.
