The video shows the sniper hitting the car from the front, but in the footage taken from a distance, it is unclear whether the shot managed to penetrate the armor.

However, the administrators of the OSINTtechincal page note that the target is most likely a late 1950s Soviet MT-LB armored vehicle or an upgraded version, and that the vehicle’s 7-14mm armor can be penetrated by the ammunition used by the Snipex. In recent days, the Ukrainian military has shared several photos showing them with such rifles.

As you can see from the photos, the Snipex Alligator is a beast of a weapon.

What is known about the Snipex Alligator sniper rifle

This impressive domestically produced weapon is produced by Khado, a Ukrainian company founded in 1991 in the city of Kharkiv, which currently has offices in several countries, including Germany and the Netherlands.

Snipex Alligator is one of the largest and most dangerous sniper rifles in the world, mainly used by Ukrainian special forces.

With a barrel length of 1.2 meters, it uses a 14.5 millimeter bullet and has an effective range of up to 2,000 meters. At a distance of 1,500 meters, the rifle can penetrate armor 10 millimeters thick. It can hit targets at a distance of up to 7,000 meters, but in these cases its effectiveness drops significantly.

When fully assembled, the gun has a total length of two meters and weighs 25 kilograms.

The rifle allows Ukrainian snipers to hit, as can be seen in the current video, not only enemy soldiers, but also his light equipment, means of communication or fuel depots.

Like the Neptune missile that sank the Moscow flagship, the Snipex Alligator rifle is one of the most impressive weapons produced in Ukraine.

A video released on social media in early September suggests that the Ukrainians have also developed their own maritime drone, although this has yet to be confirmed by reliable sources.
