The recording was published by Kriegsforscher, the page of the military intelligence unit of the Ukrainian army on Twitter. He claims that the footage was shot on September 24 after an unsuccessful counteroffensive by Russian troops in the Kharkiv region.

However, we remind you that the information war is being waged by both sides of the war, as it is possible that the footage was taken in early September, during the offensive of Ukrainian troops, which led to the catastrophic collapse of the Russian front in this region, located in the northeast of Ukraine.

By the way, on the video that appeared on social networks on September 8, several Russian armored personnel carriers were recorded, which the Moscow military abandoned after an unsuccessful attempt to cross the Donets, which passes through Kharkiv.

How modern are the tanks abandoned by the Russian military

The T-90 tank, adopted by the armed forces in 1992, is the latest generation of Russian main battle tanks. The T-90A underwent a number of changes aimed at modernizing it, including an improved turret and the addition of an infrared night vision system.

T-90A tanks are also known as T-90 Volodymyr in honor of the Russian engineer Volodymyr Potkin, who designed them.

The T-90M, the most modern tank of the Russian army, is in turn an improved version of the T-90A model.

Photos published last week on social networks showed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to capture the T-90M for the first time, which is considered the pride of the Russian arms industry.

The Kyiv military managed to destroy one such tank only a few days after they were thrown into battle in Ukraine, but until recently did not manage to capture a single T-90M.

It is believed to have been captured during the Kharkiv Offensive Operation, which caused a chaotic retreat of the Russian armed forces.
