
The order for the organized evacuation of thousands of residents was given by the authorities of California, USA, in connection with a forest fire that is spreading at an alarming rate in the northern part of the American state.
The blaze, dubbed the Mill Fire, has already destroyed homes and threatens more residents in Siskiyou County, near the Oregon border.
Firefighters warned the blaze was spreading “at a dangerous rate.” “Your life is in danger… Leave now!” highlighted in an evacuation order, particularly affecting the communities of Wind, Lake Shastina, and Edgewood.
Wildfires are out of control in northern California, which is facing a heat wave. Meteorologists predict that next week the mercury column will reach 46 degrees Celsius.
