The Commission emphasizes that the EU directly supports Ukraine in the health sector through the Civil Protection Mechanism and through Ukraine’s connection to the EU4Health programme.
At the same time, the Vice-President of the Commission will take part in the opening of the school together with the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Serhiy Scarlett, to celebrate the first day of the new academic year, and will also meet with Ruslan Stefanchuk, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
