The UN nuclear inspectors, who left Kyiv this morning for the Zaporizhzhya NPP, may begin their visit on Thursday morning.
A Reuters reporter traveling in a convoy with a team from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said the inspectors would likely stay overnight in the city of Zaporizhia near the plant before visiting the plant in Russian-controlled territory, The Guardian reported.
There is currently confusion over how long the inspection will last, as Russian officials in the area have recommended that the visit last no more than one day, while the IAEA and Ukrainian officials have suggested it could last several days.
