Zelensky: Ukraine revived when Russia invaded – We will fight to the end

OUR Ukraine “reborn” during the Russian invasion and will fight “to the end” without “no concessions or compromises” with Moscow, the Ukrainian president said today Vladimir Zelensky in his emotionally charged speech on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of his country’s independencewhich this year coincides with six months since the beginning of the Russian invasion.

In his video message, Zelensky also stressed that Ukraine would return the Russian-annexed Crimea and the occupied territories in its eastern part.

“A new nation appeared in the world on February 24 at 4 o’clock in the morning. He was not born, but reborn. A nation that didn’t cry, didn’t scream, and wasn’t afraid. (Nation) that didn’t run. He didn’t leave. And I didn’t forget,” he said.

“We will fight for (our territory) to the end,” he stressed. “We have been doing well for six months now. It’s hard, but we clenched our fists and fight for our destiny,” he continued.

“For us, Ukraine is the whole of Ukraine. All 25 regions, without any concessions and compromises,” the Ukrainian leader emphasized, who, as usual, appears in military uniform in front of the central Independence Monument in Kyiv.

“What is the end of the war for us? We used to say: peace. Now we say: victory. We will not seek collusion with terrorists,” the 44-year-old president of the country concluded, addressing the Russians.

The streets of downtown Kyiv were unusually empty this morning after days of warnings about the possibility of more Russian missile attacks on major cities today, as Ukraine celebrates Independence Day from the Soviet Union.
