Eric Holcomb tweeted that he would also visit South Korea, while the Taiwanese presidential administration said the US governor would meet with President Tsai Ing-wen on Monday morning.

“I am thrilled to spend this week building new relationships, strengthening longstanding and strengthening important partnerships with Taiwan and South Korea,” Holcomb said in a tweet.
