The Ministry of Defense of Great Britain in its assessment on Saturday notes that there has been little change on the front line recently, but the explosions that hit Russian military bases behind Russian lines are putting pressure on the enemy.

What British military intelligence says:

  • Over the past week, there have been only minimal changes in territorial control along the front line.
  • In Donbas, after a small advance since the beginning of August, Russian troops have moved closer to the outskirts of Bakhmut, but have not yet penetrated the settlement.
  • Russia did not make great efforts to advance in the direction of Zaporozhye or Kharkiv.
  • In the southwest, neither Ukrainian nor Russian forces advanced along the Kherson front.

However, the British Ministry of Defense says that “increasingly frequent explosions behind Russian lines are likely to put pressure on Russian logistics and air bases in the south.”
