Estonia also plans to support the British initiative to expand the training of the Ukrainian armed forces and hand over the second field hospital to Ukraine in cooperation with Germany, the Ministry of Defense in Tallinn said in a statement.

“The fighting in Ukraine continues to be intense. Although more and more Western weapons are reaching the front line, it is our moral duty to continue supporting Ukraine,” Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur said.

“They are fighting for our common values, and if we can convey something to Ukrainians, we should do it.”

Estonia says it has given Ukraine 250 million euros in military aid since the Russian invasion began almost six months ago. Among the weapons supplied to Kyiv were American-made anti-tank mines and Javelin anti-tank missiles. He also handed over some howitzers from old East German stocks, the transfer of which was approved by the German government.
