At least four explosions took place on Thursday evening in the area of the main Russian military airport on the Crimean peninsula of Belbek, located north of Sevastopol, three local sources said, cited by Reuters.
Separately, the governor of Sevastopol reported that Russian anti-aircraft guns shot down a Ukrainian drone.
Governor Mykhailo Razvitiev also stated in a Telegram post that there was no damage.
“No damage, no damage,” he wrote, calling on local residents to “ignore” Ukrainian channels discussing their “successful attack.”
“Please keep calm and get information from reliable sources,” Rozvytaev also wrote in Telegram, according to CNN.
