According to the document, 26,190 offenses relate to violations of the laws and customs of war.

At the same time, 73 incidents are related to the planning, preparation or initiation and conduct of a war of aggression, and another 28 – to war propaganda not adapted to international conventions.

The Prosecutor General’s Office registered another 912 various crimes not yet listed, also attributed to Russian troops.

Among other things, the Ukrainian authorities registered 12,724 crimes against national security, of which 8,783 are related to the usurpation of the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine. The prosecutor’s office also registered 1,525 cases, which it qualifies as treason, another 1,800 as crimes of collaboration, 113 as complicity with the aggressor state; 64 crimes refer to sabotage and 439 crimes with different legal qualifications.

The Ukrainian Prosecutor’s Office has opened 1,451 criminal proceedings for crimes involving children since the beginning of Russia’s large-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Various international bodies, including the UN, have initiated investigations on the territory of Ukraine to document alleged war crimes committed by Russian forces.

In addition, some countries of the European Union have sent experts to places such as Bucha or Irpin in the north of Ukraine to find evidence of these crimes.
