
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi on Sunday called for a stronger international response to what he called Russian “nuclear terror” after the explosion at the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant, the largest in Europe, Reuters reported.
During a telephone conversation with the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, Zelenskyy called for the introduction of sanctions against the Russian nuclear industry and nuclear fuel.

Earlier, Derzhatom of Ukraine reported that one worker was injured as a result of Russia’s shelling of the Zaporizhzhia NPP on Saturday night.
