Orban announces culture clash in Texas

His populist and divisive rhetoric was once again used by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban to enthrall attendees at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Dallas, Texas on Thursday night.

The Hungarian politician said that the West is now waging a “clash of civilizations.” At the same time, he wanted to soften the outrage caused by his statement that “Hungarians do not want to get confused”, causing an immediate reaction even from his closest associates, who described his remarks as “purely racist”. Thus, he did not miss the opportunity to reassure American conservatives that “a Christian politician cannot be a racist.” In Dallas, Orban stressed that those who see him as a racist and anti-Semite are “just stupid.”

He has been critical of Obama, Soros’s donor to the Democratic Party and a proponent of globalism.

Conference attendees gave the Hungarian prime minister a standing ovation as he read out a section of the Hungarian constitution allowing marriage only between a man and a woman, noting that “fewer transvestites and more Chuck Norris.”

He also criticized former President Barack Obama, major Democratic donor George Soros and other champions of globalization, stressing to the delegates in attendance: “We must rebuild institutions in Brussels and Washington. We have to coordinate the movements of our troops because we are facing the same problem,” speaking of the 2024 US presidential election, he advised them: “You have two years to prepare.”

Before the conference in Texas, Viktor Orban met with former US President Donald Trump.
