The Palestinian side said the Israeli military carried out airstrikes on Gaza on Friday, killing a senior Islamic Jihad official and at least eight others, including a small child.
Recall that earlier this week, Israel arrested Bassam al-Saadi, one of the leaders of this organization in the West Bank, which caused a strong reaction.
At least nine people have been killed and more than 44 injured in today’s Israeli raids, according to the Palestinian Authority.
According to the Israelis, the “terrorists” who died today are at least 15 people.
Among the dead is Tayseer al-Jabari, a leading figure in Islamic Jihad, according to the organization itself.
However, the Palestinian side complains that a little girl was also killed during today’s Israeli raids in Gaza.
Following today’s Israeli strikes, the Israeli military has urged residents of all areas within a radius of 80 kilometers from Gaza, including Tel Aviv, to be on the lookout for enemy missile attacks, at least until Saturday evening.
