A new video has appeared on social networks showing the consequences of the Russian bombings in the southeast of Ukraine, in which all the houses on Berestovo are completely destroyed.
The recording was made with the help of a drone over Berestov, a village in the eastern part of the Zaporizhzhia region in southern Ukraine. The city is located on the Bakhmut-Listiansk road, one of the directions of the Russian army’s offensive.
“The Russians turned everything into ruins and ashes,” Anton Gerashenko, adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denys Monastyrskyi, wrote on his Twitter page.
All the houses of the village of Berestov near the Bakmut-Lysychansk road were completely destroyed by Russian artillery.
These were someone’s homes, filled with children’s laughter and growing flowers. Happy memories.

Correspondents of Agence France-Presse reported that on Sunday, the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region came under heavy shelling, at least one person was killed.
Bakhmut, one of the few cities in the region remaining under Ukrainian control, is now at the center of Russia’s offensive in the east of the country after Russian forces managed to capture the neighboring Luhansk region in early July following the fall of Lischansk.
Systematic bombing, the new strategy of the Russian army in Ukraine
Already at the beginning of June, foreign military correspondents in Ukraine noted that Moscow’s invasion forces changed their strategy after humiliating defeats at the first stage of the war, failing to capture Kyiv and Chernihiv (Chernigau), retreating from these regions at the end of March.
The head of the Luhansk regional military administration, Serhii Gaidai, says that “the Russians are launching carpet bombs. The cities they attack simply wipe off the face of the Earth.” “They destroy everything and then move through the ruins.”
In a report released on July 6, the Royal Joint Services Institute, the world’s oldest think tank specializing in military and security issues, said that the Russian armed forces fire about 20,000 152 mm rounds a day, compared with 6,000 , issued by Ukrainians.
The International Defense Legion of Ukraine, made up of foreign volunteers fighting against the Russian occupiers, predicted an even more dramatic situation, saying on July 11 that Ukrainian heavy artillery outnumbered the Russians 8:1.
However, the Ukrainians hope that the arrival of the new HIMARS and M270 multiple rocket launcher systems will significantly reduce Moscow’s advantage in striking Russian ammunition depots, which have already carried out dozens of attacks.
