Since his transfer from Viitorul Constanța, FCSB’s financier has repeatedly stated that he wants to sell Florinel Coman for big money.

He was transferred for 3 million euros, and now, it seems, the long-awaited moment has arrived.

With 15 goals and 9 assists in 29 games this season in the Romanian Super League, Florinel Coman is eligible for a release clause that allows him to leave FCSB for €5 million.

The 25-year-old Romanian international is being watched by several clubs in Germany and Spain, and the chances of his departure after EURO 2024 are increasing.

In an interview given to Fanatik, the FCSB boss revealed that Florinel Coman asked him to let him leave in the summer and he would offer to double his current salary.

Specifically, if he agrees to stay at FCSB, Coman will receive a monthly salary of €60,000, double his current salary, meaning he will earn at least €720,000 per year.

If he signs the contract, he will become the highest-paid player in the Super League, overtaking fellow player Vlad Ciriches, who earns €400,000 a year.
