Dynamo – Petrolul 1-1, in the play-out of the Super League – The victory was missed in the 90th + 13th minute

With the pitch closed to the general public and only around 1,000 children in the stands at the Arc de Triomphe, Dynamo slipped through their fingers to claim a vital win in the competition to avoid relegation.

Gabriel de Moura opened the scoring in the 39th minute of the game, scoring from inside the penalty area after a cross from Milan.

Željko Kopić’s wards also started the second half well, but the changes balanced the match and brought the Ploiesti team closer to Golubović’s goal.

Grozav and Diomande missed important chances to equalise, while Petrolul were awarded a penalty from 11 meters in added time after a VAR analysis that lasted almost ten minutes.

Giku Grozav scored a penalty in the 13th minute of overtime, preserving an important point for the “yellow wolves”.

The draw left Dynamo in 9th place in the play-outs with 16 points, while Petrolul remained in 11th place with 22 points.
