“For the application in the 2024 fiscal year of the income taxation system of micro-enterprises, in terms of the fulfillment of the conditions provided for in Art. 47 par. (1) lit. i) in the Fiscal Code, the reference to annual financial statements applies only to Romanian legal entities that have not submitted financial statements for the 2022 fiscal year and/or statements for the years up to 2022,” ANAF said. press release

from Accounting Law No. 82/1991, reissued, with the following amendments and additions, Romanian legal entities submit a copy of their annual financial statements to the territorial units of the Ministry of Finance within 150 days after the end of the fiscal year.
“The above deadline applies to all entities regardless of the applicable taxation system in accordance with the Accounting Law, for which there is no derogation from this deadline for the 2023 fiscal year,” the message reads.
