Two groups of high school students in the city of Arad quarreled on the street before the start of classes, one of them was hit and taken to the hospital, two teenagers were detained by the police for 24 hours, reports Agerpres

On Wednesday, the Arad District Police Inspectorate reported that the incident happened near a school where students study, and witnesses called 112.

“Several youths from a school unit in the municipality were allegedly approached by other youths from the same school, and both groups exchanged words and insults in the Bull Roche area. As a result of the interaction, the student was allegedly hit and fell to the ground, and was later taken to the hospital for medical assistance,” the IPJ said.

Investigative actions are carried out by criminal investigation officers, who detained two students aged 16 and 17 for a day for striking and violating public order and peace.

The incident happened before the start of classes, all participants are teenagers from the technological high school “Aurel Vlaicu”, located approximately 200 meters from the site of the conflict.
