On Sunday, the Kremlin released footage of Russian President Vladimir Putin attending a memorial service for those killed in the attack at the Crocus City Hall concert hall outside Moscow.
Without specifying where he is, the video shows the Russian leader lighting candles near the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and then crossing himself several times.
“The President honored the memory of those who died as a result of the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall,” the Kremlin wrote, the only information accompanying the video without sound.
