
Romanian women’s handball champions CSM Bucharest advanced to the quarter-finals of the Champions League on Sunday, beating Slovenia’s Crimea Ljubljana in a doubleheader.

After 30-24 for the “tigers” in Slovenia, the students of Adi Vasile scored the same score in the return match from Bucharest.
The balance of the first half was observed on the scoreboard at halftime, when the Romanians led by only one goal (14-13).
The second half brought a break for CSM, who ended the game with a six-goal lead.
Cristina Nyagu with seven goals, Gutierrez with six and Ingstad with four became the main scorers of the champions of Romania.
In the quarter-finals, CSM Bucharest will meet the French women from Metz in a doubles match, which will take place at the end of April.
