The incident happened in Mieruca, in the immediate vicinity of the “Mihai Eminescu” high school in Barlad, where two students study. Posting it on social media would have escalated the conflict between them amid older tensions.

When the two girls started hitting each other on the sidewalk outside the school, several of their classmates began filming them. In the pictures published by Vremea Noua, you can see them kicking each other and pulling their hair. At some point, one of the students called her mother, who immediately came, but did not resolve the conflict, but began beating the person who attacked her daughter. A cousin of one of the girls also intervened in the conflict and continued to beat her.

The pictures show several students on the sidewalk witnessing the violent scenes, but no one intervenes. Finally, the man on the plot managed to separate the girls and their relatives with difficulty.

Representatives of the police inspectorate of Vaslui reported that a criminal case has been opened in this case for beating and other violence, respectively, disturbance of peace and public order.

“After the first investigations carried out, the Bârlad police established that on March 20, against the background of a previous conflict, several people between the ages of 16 and 39 attacked each other. Criminal proceedings have been opened in the case on the grounds of the crime of beatings or other violence and violation of public order and peace, investigative actions are being conducted to establish the circumstances under which the reported event occurred, and to take measures. , – said Oana Shopu, spokesperson for IPJ Vaslui.

In parallel with the police investigation, inspections are also being conducted at the school, representatives of the Vaslui district school inspectorate said.

“The parents of those involved were called to the school, it is not yet known what solutions are needed to resolve this conflict,” said deputy general school inspector Andrii Guiban.
