FC Barcelona and Arsenal managed to reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League on Tuesday, along with Bayern Munich, PSG, Manchester City and Real Madrid.

Barcelona – Napoli 3-1, 1/8 finals of the Champions League

After 1-1 in the round, Xavi started the game in an extremely bold manner, with two under-18 players in the starting XI, Lamine Yamal and defender Pau Koubarsi.

The Catalans opened the scoring in the 15th minute when Fermin López fired home from 12 meters after Rafinha’s cross.

Two minutes later, Joao Cancelo completed a wonderful Yamala counterattack, hitting the crossbar.

Napoli reduced the deficit in the 30th minute thanks to Amir Rahmani’s inside free-kick. Robert Lewandowski closed the scoring in the 83rd minute.

Arsenal – Porto 2-0, after a penalty, 1/8 finals of the Champions League

Arsenal scored the only goal in stoppage time through Leandro Trossard in the 41st minute to equalize after Porto won the first leg 1-0.

The first 90 minutes were followed by two extra periods, which were also scoreless, and qualification was decided on penalties.

Odegaard, Havertz, Saka and Rice converted for England, while Pepe and Grujic scored for FC Porto, with Wendell and Galeno missing thanks to David Ray’s intervention.
