
One person died and five others, including a child, were injured in a road accident involving four vehicles that occurred on Sunday on DN2 in the town of Sinešti, County Jalomica, when the Red Intervention Plan was activated.
The crews of ISU Ilomiţa and ISU Bucharest – Ilfov intervened at the scene of the accident, and the SMURD helicopter was also called. Three adults were taken to the hospital.
ISU Ilomiţa intervened with 2 fire engines, an evacuation vehicle, 2 SMURD ambulances, a multi-casualty transport vehicle and 2 ambulances belonging to the County Ambulance Service.
ISU Bucharest – Ilfov sent a fire truck, an evacuation team, 4 SMURD ambulances, 1 mobile intensive care unit and 4 ambulances to the scene of the accident. A SMURD helicopter was also involved to support the medical teams.
